I've been bogged down by term papers lately. In the last two weeks I've written about eight papers, and I still have two more to write and I can tell you I'll be glad when this semester is over. In all honesty I can't wait for this month to be over. We're all stressed about exams, plus we're stressed about moving which includes trying to find subletters. Seriously, I am not moving out of 702 until the lease is over, no more of this subletting crap, what a hassle.
There's some guy coming over to see the place around 2pm today. I made Rob promise that he'd come home around then so that I wouldn't be here by myself. The guy sounded very sketchy on the phone. He was supposed to come and see the place during the week but he never showed up. So maybe he won't even show up today, who knows.
I definitely haven't started packing, I think that I'll wait until exams are over.
I'm going home on Easter weekend, that should be interesting I guess. I do want to visit my new niece again. I love kids when they're that little, they're not running around, they're not talking back to you and she seems to be generally good natured. She just likes to be held.
Anywho, onward and upward I guess.

Well, Jen and Cindy have been bugging me to update and I'm avoiding school work right now so I guess that the time is right. For anyone who is reading this it will probably end up being a bit of a bitchfest so you might want to skip it.
So, my time at Sportchek is drawing to an end. I'm sick of my job there, I'm ready to try something different. Also, I am disgusted with Forzani Group (they own sportchek). I've time and time again seen people screwed by the company and I've about had it. The yearly bonus was released this week. Part time staff who worked 750 hrs in 2005 were supposed to receive a bonus (I don't know how much). I worked about 400hrs as a cashier and 740 as a sales associate last year and I got no bonus. I'm fairly pissed about this. They did not count my hrs as a cashier towards my total and I got screwed. I have complained and they are looking into it. But realistically this was the final straw and even if they do end up giving me that bonus I'm still going to look for another job so that I can quit. No one should ever think that it is okay to work for someone that does not appreciate them (unless you are a shitty worker. lol).
On another note we're getting geared up for yet another move. And its back to 702 Palmer Street. I tell people that and then immediately say that I don't want to talk about it, mostly cause I don't want to try and explain why we moved out in the first place. Lets just say that we learnt out lesson and we can now appreciate what we had there. Chavah will probably be living with us which is exciting.
Its weird but I'm always sketchy about moving at first, then I get used to it. There is always a period of us freaking out cause we worry that things won't work out. I always feel better knowing that Cindy is mostly in charge of a lot of the moving stuff. I somehow feel that if Cindy is in charge then things will work out, but if I was in charge I know that we'd be screwed. lol
So, anyways, fingers crossed that things work out.

Don't forget about me Pham-erownie.

Should make for an interesting weekend. Maybe this will be a good visit, I mean, it could happen. I've got a bunch of stuff to take home to either store or return to various people, I'll be glad to have that done. I'm also going to get my desktop updated which I've been needing to do for a while.

Well, on that note perhaps I should try to get to sleep again.
So, after thinking for months that I needed a better video card in order to play some of the games that I've been wanting to try I finally went to the microsoft website and scanned my computer to see if it would run said games. Turns out it will. So Rob and I take a walk up to Futureshop and i purchase City of Heroes, a massively multiplayer online game which Rob and Phil say is very good. I get said game home and input the serial code anticipating a night of gaming online only to be told that my serial code is already in use and the I should check to see if I'm typing it correctly. After about five more tries it is apparent that someone has hacked my code and has been using it for however long. So, now I'm awaiting the sites customer service section email correcting this problem. This reminds me slightly of when Cindy tried to pay for music when she downloaded it and then her not being able to play the format. Tell me again whats the pro of doing something legally?

So, I've spent a very uneventful night, sitting around watching tv. I had a midterm today in Crim Theory II and i really have no idea how i did. but a nice surprise was waiting for me when i got home, two books that i ordered from chapters last week online!! DaVinci Code and The Suess, the whole Suess and nothing but the Suess, a visual biography, which will both hopefully be excellent. I've started reading the davinci one and its really good already.
So, i'm thinking about buying a laptop. I just have to figure out how much i can spend i guess. Perhaps I'll just have to wait out the summer and see how things go. Cause I mean, I have a comp now and its all paid for and if I buy a laptop it will probably put me into debt. But I really really want one, just think of the freedom of it all:D
Other than that I'm pretty sure that my life is soon going to be full of papers and such so I better life up this freedom from papers while i can:D
Have a good nite all!!

So, thought that I'd keep with tradition and write my bimonthly, or however long its been, update. I haven't been up to too much lately. We just found out tonight that Jen, Krista, Cindy and I got the APARTMENTS that we wanted!!! So go us on that one.
umm, mostly lately i've been trying to keep up with my school work. Its weird, i bitch and whine about school work, but really I love it. When I took my year off from school I was so bored and starved for information. It's nice to be always learning something, and always having a good topic for conversation.
I'm not getting too much work at Sportchek lately, there's no hours apparently. At least I didn't get told that I should look for another job. I'm going to anyways though, hopefully I can find something that pays better for the summer:D If worse comes to worse I might work at a call centre...I know I know, but it's only for the summer, I can hack that right? I need to get myself some Fredericton connections, like everyone I know, or at least it seems that way, has this great person they know thats going to get them a good job, or at least might be able to. I gotta get on that...
I just got home from the movies, went with Billy. It was fun, we went to see Hitch, its great if anyone was wondering. Definitely worth going to the theatre for. Had a fun time.
So, on a totally different train of thought, just a general question for anyone. Do you ever just dread going home? I find it really depressing, and i'm not being sarcastic like I usually am. I really get sad and depressed when I go home for a weekend or something. I feel like I'm a bad person for being like that, and I know my mom notices it when I'm home. I don't think it should be like that eh?
Anyways, I think that that's enough for one post. Have a good nite all!

Well, my first exam is tomorrow. It's my adult courts one and it's open book, which I think is kinda scary. They don't do that unless it is going to be really hard right? I have all my notes and everything so I think that I should do O.K. though.
I have two exams on Monday and another one on Tuesday and then I'm done school until the new year! It's just the getting through the exams that I have to worry about, and I definitely don't feel like I'm worrying enough. I just can't bring myself to care...
In other news...Happy Birthday to Ryan Ryan, if he happens to read this.
So, here I am, updating again...I don't know why, it's not like there is anything interesting really going on. I dropped my Canadian Politics (full year course), it was Wednesday and Friday at 9am. I just couldn't hack it anymore. I found myself skiping one out of every two classes, which is not cool since I don't have anyone to get notes from. I also had a paper due on Wednesday and I left it too late and all the books I needed to write the paper were out...so I dropped the class. I think that the summer between my third and fourth year I'll take a summer course, hopefully by only taking one class I'll be able to do really well...one can hope.
I went to see Alexander on Wednesday with Cindy, Neal, and Al. It was a bit of a disappointment. I really wanted to love it but it just wasn't that good. I guess I should have been more aware of what the story was about before I went, then I would have been more prepared, it's hard to go into a movie not knowing much about it. You're almost bound to be disappointed I think.
I have three assignments due next week, I'm feeling pretty good about it though, I've already finished one and almost finished both of the other ones.
I have to work tomorrow night 5-11 and Sunday 11-6, which pretty much takes up the rest of my weekend. And to make things that much more sad the only thing I really did tonight was clean my room...
Anywho, toodles

So, since i rarely ever update I felt that tonight might be a good time, seeing as i have an extra hour that i thought i was without...i.e. i forgot to change my clocks when I got home from my sister's house.
Anyways, what is new in the life of Megan anyways? I got a job a Sportchek for starters and i start there tomorrow, which I think is exciting!! Just as exciting or maybe even more for me is that i finally got my hair cut and highlighted on the weekend!! In the hopes that I might actually start doing something with my hair i bought a flat iron/curling iron combo dealie... we'll see how that works out.
I don't really have anything exciting going on except that i guess... i'll update again when something interesting comes up.
